Large Art Deco Pedestal Side Table in Oak and Expressive Red Marble 1930s
What an amazing piece this is! This 1930s Art Deco pedestal side table shows great proportions and quality. It was well made by a true craftsman, in beautifully aged solid oak and expressive red marble. The square top is well sized, with a subtle detail on the edge. This same chamfered detail can been seen on the bottom of the wooden construction that holds the marble top.
The pedestal base has a square bottom, also with a nicely detailed edges. The main column is also in stained oak, showing the same modest details. Stand alone against the wall, or next to a sofa or armchair, or as a centre table in the hallway, this wonderful piece will make a great addition to the interior.
