Set of 2 'Les Arcs' Stools Selected by Charlotte Perriand in Patinated Leather and Chromed Metal 1960s
This is an unusual set of ‘Les Arcs’ stools. As one of the best known stools from mid 20th century, these stools selected by Charlotte Perriand for the Les Arcs Ski Resort in the Alps are quintessentially mid century. But also very stylish and timeless indeed. These were produced by Dal Vera, Italy.
Our set consists out of a normal height bar stool and one which is significantly smaller. This one presumably started its life as a normal height example, but is lowered somewhere in time. This has been done in quality fashion - and the smaller one is great for use at a dining table. Never intended to be this way, but in the end the result is really quite pleasing.
Dimensions:
W. 43 x D. 39 x H. 91 cm SH. 73 cm (normal height)
W. 40 x D. 36 x H. 68 cm SH. 52 cm (smaller height)
