SOLD - Unique Bauhaus Table Lamp in Metal and Marble 1930s

€0.00

This lamp is a true gem for lovers of a wonderful patina. Highly unusual and most probably built at home by a skilled craftsman - it definitely is not a lamp that was produced in a series - this table lamp makes a unique piece.

Being a very original design in the first place, this lamp gains a lot of its character from the unique patination which is most noticeable on the thin metal shade. This brown lacquered shade shows a truly beautiful craquelé - it almost looks like leopard skin. It makes a nice combination with the hexagonal base in expressive marble.

A very refined design, although a bit rough on the edges and experimental at the same time. This combination makes it highly attractive and a true modernist gem.

Dimensions: diameter 33 cm x H. 39 cm
